Please read over our terms and conditions carefully before placing any orders. Any and all transactions between you (hereafter “you” or a “customer”) and Compatible Cable, Inc. (hereafter “we” or “”Compatible Cable”) shall be governed by these terms and conditions. The use of this website constitutes your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

How to Order

Orders are accepted through our website, via e-mail, fax (925-926-0320), or via our toll-free phone number, 888-415-1115.


Orders for off-the-shelf items placed before 4:00pm PST can usually be shipped the same day. We offer a variety of shipping methods including UPS and Federal Express. Shipping costs are calculated based on your address and the weight of your order. COD shipments have the shipping company’s COD charge applied to the shipping total on the invoice. Items such as bulk wire, networking cabinets, etc, and custom cable assemblies may not eligible for “Free Ground” and “3-day for Ground” shipping discounts. This offer is only valid with Compatible Cable published product pricing. “Free Ground” and “3-day for Ground” shipping discounts cannot be applied to other shipping options such as Second Day Air or Next Day Air, or will call orders.

Will Call

Pick-up hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please allow at least 1-hour processing time before picking up will call orders. Promotional shipping discounts cannot be applied to will call orders.

Returned Goods

Returns must comply with the return procedure set forth below, and all returned items must be in new condition, including the original box, packaging, manuals and accessories. In the event goods supplied by Compatible Cable are considered defective and/or non-conforming by the customer, Compatible Cable must be notified within thirty days. Provided that such goods are in suitable condition for return, Compatible Cable can then issue a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number. We do not accept any returned goods without an RMA number. Unless otherwise agreed upon by Compatible Cable in writing, refusal of shipment when a package is delivered does not constitute a request for an RMA. Once an RMA has been issued, the customer has fourteen days to return the package to Compatible Cable. Once the item(s) have been received by Compatible Cable, the customer can expect a credit within fourteen days. For items Compatible Cable determines to be defective upon receipt, errors in shipment, or exchange returns, no restock fee is charged. In all other cases, a 25% restock fee is subtracted from the amount credited back to the customer. Compatible Cable can credit shipping costs only in the event of an internal error in shipping. All custom cables are non-cancelable and non-returnable (NCNR).


Compatible Cable accepts payment by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Company check, and cash. Payment is due in full as stated on the invoice. Net terms are extended to customers based on approved credit. Any costs of collections, including attorney fees, will be added to invoice. For international orders, we accept prepayment by wire transfer. Any fees due to Compatible Cable which remain unpaid will accrue interest at the lesser of one and one half percent (1.5%) per month or the highest rate permitted by applicable law.

Returned Checks

If a customer’s check is returned to Compatible Cable for insufficient funds, because payment has been stopped, or for any other reasons, a specific charge of $25.00 will be assessed for the handling of that check regardless of the reason for handling or processing. Two or more returned checks within a 60-day period will cause the account to revert to prepaid / credit card basis.


All cables have lifetime warranty. Networking patch panels have a 25 year warranty. Other products have a 1 year warranty from the invoice date.

Customer Privacy

Compatible Cable does not rent, sell or otherwise disclose customer information to third parties. We collect only the information necessary to keep the customer well-informed of the status of his or her order. For further information, please see our Privacy Policy.

In Case of Fraud

In the interest of preventing Internet fraud, Compatible Cable reserves the right to refuse any order. Compatible Cable reports all fraudulent orders.

Prices and Specifications

Prices, specifications, and availability of products are subject to change without notice. Due to the changing nature of the cable industry, and because of the technical differences in the equipment of our customers, product descriptions may not reflect current technical information, and we cannot be responsible for photographic differences in product size, shape and color.

Verification of Order

Compatible Cable website orders generate an automatic confirmation e-mail, but the receipt of a confirmation only means that we have received your order, and it does not constitute an offer to sell. We may change our pricing, product description or specifications after any confirmation e-mail, but prior to shipment, due to errors, changing market conditions, product discontinuation or unavailability, typographical errors, or any other reason. While it is the customer’s responsibility to cancel their own orders, we reserve the right to limit the quantity of any item sold.

Compatible Cable will not be held responsible for any additional costs including labor, additional software/ hardware, and or damages associated with or resulting from the use of our products.
