Send any available drawings, specifications, bills of materials, pinouts, part numbers, or samples. Please also include the required quantity, delivery date, and any testing, labeling, packaging, or documentation requirements. If the design is not fully documented, send what you have to get the conversation started.

Can you work from an existing cable or wire harness sample?

Yes. An existing assembly can be reviewed when drawings or specifications are unavailable. Connector details, pinouts, dimensions, application information, and performance requirements may also be needed to prepare an accurate quote.

Do you support prototypes and production quantities?

Yes. Support is available for prototypes, first-article builds, low-volume requirements, and ongoing production programs. Quantity requirements are reviewed by project because component availability, tooling, complexity, and production location can affect minimums.

Are domestic and offshore production options available?

Yes. Domestic and offshore options are available based on your volume, schedule, budget, and sourcing requirements. The recommended approach will reflect the priorities of your specific program.

Can you source components or recommend alternatives?

Yes. Projects may use fully sourced materials, customer-supplied components, or a combination of both. If a specified component is unavailable or obsolete, a suitable alternative can be identified for customer review and approval.

How are cable assemblies and wire harnesses inspected and tested?

Inspection and testing requirements are established for each project. Depending on the assembly, this may include visual inspection, continuity testing, pin-to-pin verification, polarity checks, dimensional inspection, or other customer-specified testing. Any required workmanship standard or documentation should be included with the quote request.

What affects lead time?

Lead time is influenced by component availability, order quantity, tooling, assembly complexity, testing requirements, and production location. Timing is reviewed during the quoting process and confirmed before the order is placed.

Can you reproduce an obsolete or legacy cable assembly?

In many cases, yes. Provide an existing sample, drawing, bill of materials, pinout, or any available product information. The assembly and its components can then be reviewed to determine whether the original configuration or an approved equivalent can be supplied.
