Do you sell direct to Government, Educational, Corporate, or the general public?

No. As a true wholesale distributor, Compatible Cable strictly honors the channel. Our company philosophy is based on mutually beneficial long-term relationships with our clients. We seek to foster these relationships by referring Government, Educational, Corporate, or consumer business to our loyal customers. We will not undercut our client’s business or trust by selling direct to end users.

Do I get a regular sales representative at Compatible Cable, or do I have to find someone in sales every time I need to order?

You will have a dedicated account manager who is always available for you by phone, e-mail, and instant messaging. Your manager is a proactive partner for you and will always remain very informed on your company cable needs and your buying history with Compatible Cable.

Are there any cable requests that you will not quote?

We have the resources, offshore or domestic, to quote virtually any cable requirement. The only instance when we will “no-bid” a request is if the assembly requires a name-brand part which is out of production and the customer cannot accept an equivalent for that part.

How quickly do orders ship?

Orders for stock items are guaranteed to ship same-day if placed by 3:00 PM PST. In the event that we cannot ship the order complete, we immediately notify customers and provide them their options (partial shipments, back-orders, hold and ship complete when the product arrives, etc).

What is your return policy?

We have a no-hassle RMA policy. If you need to return any standard product, simply fill out an RMA form and we will send you an RMA number same-day. Depending on the customer’s preference and the situation, we will send a replacement product or issue a credit memo. There is a 25% restocking fee for returned merchandise which is not defective. RMAs will not be issued for product that is held by the customer for more than 90 days. Barring defective assemblies, custom cables may not be returned.

What are your payment terms?

Compatible Cable accepts payment by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Company check, and cash. Net terms are extended to customers based on approved credit. If you would like to apply for terms, please ask your dedicated account manager for a credit application.
