Meet The Team
Every project moves through people who know cable assembly inside and out. Here’s who you’ll be working with.
Bill Hawkins
Bill founded Compatible Cable in 2009 and has since helped OEMs, contract manufacturers, system integrators, and resellers support projects ranging from prototypes to full-scale production. Bill is known for his hands-on approach, technical knowledge, and commitment to building long-term customer relationships through responsive service and honest communication.
Before founding Compatible Cable, Bill worked in both cable distribution and custom cable assembly, gaining experience in sales and operations. He later managed operations for a custom cable startup, where he developed the company’s internal cable procedures. Outside of work, Bill enjoys traveling, playing guitar and drums, and spending time with his family.
Bill Calkins
Bill began his career in the technology industry in 1991 at a computer systems integrator, then joined Cables Unlimited as its first employee and eventually became VP of Sales. His experience spans startups and major corporations, with international industry experience in Germany, South Korea, and China.
Bill joined Compatible Cable in 2010, bringing decades of sales and industry experience and a strong belief in treating customers as long-term partners. His focus on building lasting relationships and identifying new opportunities continues to shape how Compatible Cable works with customers today. He enjoys spending time with his family, working around the house and in his community, and playing golf with family and friends.
Tony Pecci
Tony began his career in the cable industry in 1997 at Cables Unlimited, where he worked his way from the warehouse into systems administration and IT management. He joined Compatible Cable in 2013 as Warehouse Coordinator, bringing experience across operations, technology, and logistics.
At Compatible Cable, Tony has helped improve warehouse organization, shipping and receiving procedures, and day-to-day logistical operations. His background across multiple areas of the business helps keep operations organized and running smoothly. In his free time, Tony enjoys photography and creating both freehand and digital art.
