Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before placing an order. Any and all transactions between you (hereafter “you” or a “customer”) and Compatible Cable, Inc. (hereafter “we” or “Compatible Cable”) shall be governed by these Terms and Conditions. The use of this website constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Business Hours
Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time.

How to Order
Orders are primarily handled through quotes, purchase orders, and email. Please contact Compatible Cable to request a quote or place an order.

Shipping
Compatible Cable offers a variety of shipping methods, including UPS and FedEx. Shipping costs are based on the destination, shipment size and weight, and selected shipping method.

Quoted or estimated shipping and delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. Lead times may vary based on product requirements, component and material availability, customer approvals or changes, carrier schedules, and other factors.

Responsibility for an order transfers to the customer upon delivery. Claims for shipments lost or damaged in transit are handled through the applicable shipping carrier.

Will Call
Pick-up hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please allow at least one hour of processing time before picking up will call orders.

Returned Goods
Returns must comply with the return procedure set forth below, and all returned items must be in new condition, including the original box, packaging, manuals, and accessories, where applicable.

In the event goods supplied by Compatible Cable are considered defective and/or non-conforming by the customer, Compatible Cable must be notified within thirty days. Provided that such goods are in suitable condition for return, Compatible Cable can then issue a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number. We do not accept returned goods without an RMA number.

Unless otherwise agreed upon by Compatible Cable in writing, refusal of shipment when a package is delivered does not constitute a request for an RMA. Once an RMA has been issued, the customer has fourteen days to return the package to Compatible Cable. Once the item(s) have been received by Compatible Cable, the customer can expect a credit within fourteen days.

For items Compatible Cable determines to be defective upon receipt, errors in shipment, or exchange returns, no restocking fee is charged. In all other cases, a 25% restocking fee is subtracted from the amount credited to the customer. Compatible Cable can credit shipping costs only in the event of an internal shipping error.

All custom cables and assemblies are non-cancelable and non-returnable (NCNR), except as otherwise agreed to by Compatible Cable in writing.

If a customer requests cancellation of a custom order that is already in process, Compatible Cable will determine any applicable cancellation charge on a case-by-case basis. Cancellation charges may include material costs, supplier restocking fees, and other costs incurred in connection with the order.

Payment
Compatible Cable accepts payment by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, company check, cash, ACH, and wire transfer. Payment is due in full as stated on the invoice. Net terms are extended to customers based on approved credit.

Any costs of collection, including attorney fees, will be added to the invoice. Any amounts due to Compatible Cable that remain unpaid will accrue interest at the lesser of one and one-half percent (1.5%) per month or the highest rate permitted by applicable law.

Returned Checks
If a customer’s check is returned to Compatible Cable for insufficient funds, because payment has been stopped, or for any other reason, a charge of $25.00 will be assessed for handling and processing. Two or more returned checks within a 60-day period will cause the account to revert to a prepaid or credit card basis.

Customer Specifications
For custom products and assemblies manufactured to customer-provided requirements, the customer is responsible for the accuracy and suitability of all drawings, bills of materials, specifications, component selections, and other design requirements provided or approved by the customer, including their suitability for the customer’s intended application.

Compatible Cable will build custom products and assemblies according to the requirements established by the customer’s purchase order and related approved documentation. The use of original, equivalent, or substitute components will be determined by the applicable quote, purchase order, and related documentation.

Quotes, Pricing, and Lead Times
Unless otherwise stated in writing, quotes are valid for 30 days.

Pricing and availability may vary based on component and material costs, supplier pricing and availability, quantities, specifications, and other factors. Any changes to pricing or specifications after an order has been accepted will be communicated to the customer as appropriate.

Quoted lead times and delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. Lead times may be affected by component or material availability, customer-requested changes, approval requirements, supplier delays, carrier delays, and other circumstances.

Customer Privacy
The collection and use of personal information through this website is governed by our Privacy Policy.

In Case of Fraud
In the interest of preventing fraud, Compatible Cable reserves the right to refuse any order and may report suspected fraudulent activity as appropriate.

Order Acceptance
Quotes provided by Compatible Cable do not constitute acceptance of an order. Orders are subject to review and acceptance by Compatible Cable. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order due to pricing or specification errors, product or component unavailability, changing market conditions, or other circumstances that prevent us from fulfilling the order as quoted.

Any changes to an accepted order, including changes to quantities, specifications, components, or delivery requirements, may result in changes to pricing and lead times.

Compatible Cable makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate information; however, we cannot guarantee that all website content is complete, current, or error-free. We reserve the right to refuse orders at the company’s discretion.

Compatible Cable expressly disclaims liability and shall not be responsible for incidental or consequential damages of any kind or nature, including, without limitation, damages to persons or property, whether a claim for such damages is based upon warranty, contract, tort, or otherwise; damages due to or arising out of the loss of data; or lost profits.

Compatible Cable will not be held responsible for additional costs, including labor, software, hardware, or other damages associated with or resulting from the use of our products.
